Charitable lead trust gifts can provide you with the satisfaction of giving a cash donation to WPC during your lifetime. You can contribute an initial partial interest in cash or other property to WPC for a fixed number of years, after which the remainder interest either reverts to you or passes to one or more non-charitable beneficiaries selected by you.
The primary benefit to you from a charitable lead trust is that it allows property to be transferred to the eventual beneficiaries at a reduced tax cost.
