Regional Gardens

Ever noticed the gardens in Meadville? Or in Carnegie Borough? Or at the Gateway to Pittsburgh?

These magnificent displays come courtesy of Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and its partners.

And those are just a few of the ways in which our regional gardens program is making a difference right in your backyard -- just around the corner, across town, and even a few miles up the highway.

The gardens planted by WPC volunteers are delights to the eye, but they are also seeds that flower into teamwork, healing, and community pride. Residents forge powerful new connections to nature and to each other, and the partnerships they develop do more than anything else could to advance their community's future.

Give to WPC today, and help us beautify more communities and sow more seeds of hope.

We had people of a lot of different ages come to help with both the planting and the clean up. They know that this is their garden -- this is their interchange and it helps them to feel a little bit more part of the community when they drive past that everyday knowing that they had a part in helping with it.
