October 2004 Screen Wallpaper Calendar

If you would like to make this photo your screen background for October, simply right mouse click on the image below and select "set as background (or set as wallpaper on some systems)."  This month's photo of a female bullfrog and was photographed by professional photographer and WPC Volunteer John Karian. As the WPC Daily indicates, the frog is a female, which can be determined by comparing the size of her eye to the circular tympanum disc (ear) just behind the eye. These are about the same size. The male's tympanum is twice as large.
