Keynote
Speaker David Crockett - A descendant of Davy Crockett, this contemporary
frontiersman turned Chattanooga, Tenn. into a thriving economic and
environmental community. He talks about how those principles could work
in western Pennsylvania.
Guided
Hikes - WPC naturalists will lead an early-bird hike, a forestry
hike, a world of insects and a family hike.
Children's
Activities - Face and flower pot painting, building a natural bird
feeder, a junior naturalist program, nature games and a scavenger hunt.
Garden
Demonstrations - the WPC staff who bring you more than 200 community
gardens present tips on bringing in plants in the winter, four-season
gardening, irrigation systems and identifying pests.
