WPC Wins Pittsburgh American Business Ethics Award On Friday, May 30, Western Pennsylvania Conservancy was honored to receive the 2003 Pittsburgh American Business Ethics Award, Non-profit category. As the judges noted, "Embedded in Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is the belief that ethical behavior should be disseminated throughout the organization. Building upon this foundation, the organization promotes openness and upstanding behavior, which is evident in their 'open door policy.'" The award is presented annually by the Society of Financial Service Professionals, Pittsburgh chapter, to recognize area businesses that have exemplified and promoted ethical conduct for the benefit of the workplace, the marketplace, the environment and the community.
