Songbirds of Erie

Presque Isle State Park in Erie, Pennsylvania, is one of the best places in the state to observe migrating songbirds. Thirty-six species of warblers have been recorded, along with orioles, tanagers, thrushes, vireos, flycatchers and sparrows. This unique state park has also been the site of ongoing bird-banding studies, carried out by members of the Presque Isle Audobon Society.
