Spring Flowers at Enlow Fork The
best time to view wildflowers at Enlow Fork (Washington and Green Counties)
is during the last two weeks of April. Also
known as State Game Lands 302, the Enlow Fork of Wheeling Creek winds
its way through a remote, rugged valley rich in flora and fauna. A profusion
of wildflowers bloom in the picturesque valley each spring, highlighted
by the blue-eyed Mary, pictured above, which covers the landscape in a
carpet of deep blue. The 1,000-acre site also provides important habitat
for wintering deer herds. E-mail Today's WPC Daily to a Friend! Did you receive this WPC Daily from a friend? Want to get your own, every day? Click here to join the mailing list..
