Hibernating Habits of the Northern Raven

When hiking in the remote plateaus of northern Pennsylvania or mountainous regions elsewhere, you may hear the croaking and caws of the northern raven. Unlike their cousins, crows, ravens largely avoid human activity and nest on cliffs or trees high in isolated settings. Visitors with keen ears can occasionally hear the voice of a raven overheard at Fallingwater and WPC's Bear Run Nature Reserve in Fayette County.
