Pa.'s Highest Point At 3,213 feet, Mt. Davis, in Somerset County, is the highest point in Pennsylvania. It is located in the Laurel Highlands, where WPC has had a long history of conservation efforts. The 581 acre Mt. Davis Natural Area offers exhibits that interpret the area, an observation tower, and hiking trails. Baughman Rocks, Tar Kiln Site, picnic areas, and High Point Lake Vista are nearby. Mt. Davis is on Negro Mountain, lying between Laurel Mountain on the west and Allegheny Mountain on the east.
