Pictured above is one of the three Washington County covered bridges that is being preserved in county parks. The Wilson's Mill Bridge was moved to its present location in 1978 as part of a flood control project. Compared to the other bridges of the county, it is a rather high structure. This may be due, in part, to the heavy steel I beams that have been added to support the deck and the additional siding material that has been used to conceal the steelwork. Otherwise, it is similar to the other covered spans in the county.
Location: On Township Route 486, just south of State Route 4035, in Cross Creek County Park, approximately 2.5 miles east of West Middletown, between Cross Creek and Hopewell Townships.
