If you enjoy professional storytelling around a campfire, learning about birds of prey, experiencing the ecology of streams firsthand or just relaxing with loved ones on a leisurely float down one of Pennsylvania's most scenic rivers, then don't miss The 2004 Clarion River Sojourn on May 21 and 22.
Participants will travel approximately 26 miles along the Clarion River in Jefferson, Elk, and Forest Counties. Additional activities include story telling, birds of prey demonstration, and stream ecology.
Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, Pennsylvania American Water, Pennsylvania Organization of Watersheds and Rivers, and Department of Conservation and Natural Resources are sponsoring the event.
