Fallingwater Friday: Fallingwater's Summer Residency Programs

“It's an opportunity to experience a relationship with a building.”

This comment from a past Teacher Resident says it best – Fallingwater's Summer Residency programs are an unforgettable study experience, offering students and teachers the chance to study how design, preservation, and conservation interconnect at Frank Lloyd Wright's masterwork. Residents enjoy close access to Fallingwater, participate in on-site design studios and thoughtful discussions led by Wright scholars. “The discussions and activities were so stimulating that I couldn't help but push my creativity to the limits,” adds a former Student Resident.

Applications are now available for three programs:

  • College Residency, June 30 – July 10, for undergraduate students enrolled in an architectural professional degree program;
  • High School Residency, July 15-22, for students who have completed their junior or senior year;
  • Teacher Residency, July 25-August 1, for practicing teachers at any level

Application information can be found on our new Education pages on the website, or you may contact Fallingwater Curator of Education Sarah Cleary at scleary@paconserve.org for more information.
