Be one of the first to explore Pennsylvania's newest state park, Erie Bluffs, by participating in "When Nature Goes to Sleep: Winter Survival" from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 12. Discover the winter hardships settlers endured. Be prepared for challenging terrain and cold conditions during these real-life survival challenges. Please note, there are no comfort facilities.
Interested participants will meet at the Stull Center at Presque Isle to carpool to Erie Bluffs. Erie Bluffs State Park, located along Pa. Route 5 twelve miles west of Erie, Pa., is the sixth time in WPC's history that a state park has been established through the efforts of the Conservancy, its members and partner conservation and governmental groups.
